Friday 7th October is Make Some Noise Day and Globallers in Northern Ireland will take part for the very first time, uniting to raise vital funds for small charities.
Make Some Noise is Global’s grant-giving charity that improves the lives of disadvantaged people by working with small charities across the UK, including Northern Ireland.
We unite our radio stations, our outdoor portfolio, our audiences, and our friends from the music and entertainment industry to give a voice to small charities.
All the projects funded are across four key areas: providing shelter and safety, supporting physical and mental health, preventing isolation, and improving life skills.
This year alone, we’re supporting crucial services at 100 small charities, including Vineyard Compassion and The Rural Health Partnership in Northern Ireland.
“We’re so excited to be taking part in Global’s Make Some Noise Day 2022. As it’s our first ever, we’re determined to give it our all and raise as much as we can for these important charities.
People are feeling the effects of rising costs and understandably are watching their spending, but we’ve been overwhelmed by the support we’ve received so far and just want to say a big thank you to everyone who has donated”
Rebecca Rodgers, Global Belfast Noise Maker
On Make Some Noise Day 2022, the Global Northern Ireland team will be dressing loud and taking part in a virtual cycle around the UK and Ireland’s largest lake – Lough Neagh.
The dress code is neon and each Globaller will take on their own stage of the relay cycle aiming to clock up 144km / 90 miles in just 6 hours with motivational music provided by Global Player!
The Global Northern Ireland team would love your support. You can donate whatever you can and help make a difference to small charities. Donate here.
