The Capital XTRA Book Club with Leah Davis podcast is returning for a second season, with episode one dropping Monday 9th January.
Hosted by Capital XTRA’s Leah Davis, the podcast aims to elevate and highlight black voices, while educating audiences on topics such as racial injustice, female empowerment and more. Each week, Leah sits down with a black writer to delve into their latest work, from legendary authors to rising literary stars, covering everything from gripping fiction right through to inspiring self-motivation books.
The podcast returns for another series of compelling interviews, with season two featuring the likes of actor David Harewood, author of the acclaimed ‘Noughts & Crosses’ series Malorie Blackman, poet and author Sophia Thakur, writer Toni Tone and more.
Season one featured interviews with the likes of Candice Braithwaite, Bolu Babalola and Yewande Biala.
