Opinions on over-the-counter medications

Following our recent quick-fire survey on winter health, we’ve taken a deep-dive look at our audiences’ opinions on health and wellbeing including topics such as private healthcare, over-the-counter (OTC) medications, gut health and more. Exploring OTC medications specifically, it’s familiar territory for our audience with 97% having bought some form of OTC medicine in the last 12 months. Some of most popular products include pain, cold & flu and hay fever relief. Audiences appear to be fairly price sensitive, with 7in10 listing price as the main influencing factor when choosing OTC products. 81% also agree that they are likely to buy own label products over well-known brands.
