The launch of the brand-new digital 48 sheet billboard in Northern Ireland’s capital comes after an extensive rebuild and upgrade.
Now bigger and brighter than ever before, the large format digital screen offers an impressive 3.81mm pixel pitch and over 18.5m2 of high-definition space for advertiser messages.
To celebrate the launch, Global partnered with Retail NI, the retail trade body for Northern Ireland, to help launch its Christmas 2023 campaign.
For the first time, Retail NI will use the new D48 location on bustling Bruce Street in the heart of Belfast City Centre, to encourage consumers to go the extra mile and support local independent retailers this festive season.
“2023 has been a tough year for many independent retailers with sky high business rates, declining consumer confidence, inflation, and the recent flooding. Christmas is a critical time for many of our members as it sustains their business throughout the year, maintaining jobs and ensuring investment in our high streets. Retail NI want to urge consumers to make a special effort to support their local independent retailers this Christmas”.
Retail NI Chief Executive Glyn Roberts
Located between Belfast’s Great Victoria Street and Dublin Road with an average weekly audience flow of 86,000, the Bruce Street D48 will place Retail NI’s support local Christmas message right in the heart of Northern Ireland’s Christmas shopping action.
“We’re delighted to work with Retail NI to harness the power of our new digital 48 sheet for their new Christmas campaign. It’s great to be able to utilise our outdoor portfolio to support important local messages such as Retail Northern Ireland’s new campaign. We hope that the exposure offered by this new digital site will encourage shoppers to support local businesses”.
