Rita Ora, Myleene Klass and Busted Perform at Charity’s 10th Anniversary Appeal Gala Hosted by Global, the Media & Entertainment Group

Last night (21st November), Rita Ora, Myleene Klass and Busted joined Global’s all-star presenter line-up for Global’s Make Some Noise Night – the Media and Entertainment group’s annual charity gala – supported by Barclaycard.

The star-studded event raised £1,120,617 for Global’s Make Some Noise – the official charity of Global – created to help fund small charities and projects across the UK, providing vital support for people living with mental and physical health issues, disabilities, homelessness and hunger.

As Global’s Make Some Noise celebrates its 10th annual Appeal, Global brought together all its radio brands – Heart, Capital, Smooth Radio, Classic FM, LBC, Radio X and Gold – and its outdoor estate, to help those living through the toughest of circumstances. The night was hosted by many of Global’s star-name presenters, including Amanda Holden, Jamie Theakston, Roman Kemp, Sian Welby, Chris Stark and James O’Brien.

Internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Rita Ora, hugely talented Classic FM and Smooth Radio presenter and musician Myleene Klass, and multi-BRIT award-winning band Busted took to the stage at The Londoner hotel in Leicester Square to perform in front of 400 special guests.

Global’s presenters including Heart’s Jamie Theakston, Amanda Holden, Ashley Robertsand Pandora Christie; Capital’s Roman Kemp, Sian Welby and Chris Stark; Smooth Radio’s Kirsty Gallacher, LBC’s James O’Brien, Johnny Vaughan from Radio X, and The News Agents’ Emily Maitlis, Jon Sopel and Lewis Goodall all gave their support on the night.

Once again, Barclaycard very generously supported the event. All the money raised from the evening goes to Global’s Make Some Noise.
