Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard is back with bells on! This morning on Capital Breakfast, Jordan North, Chris Stark and Siân Welby revealed the spectacular line-up of stars set to perform at the UK’s biggest Christmas party on Sunday 6th December. John Legend, Tom Grennan, Jason Derulo, Leona Lewis, Rudimental, Jamie Miller, Stella Lefty, Clean Bandit, D.O.D, and Capital Buzz Artist Freya Skye are all confirmed to play. Fans can also look forward to a special surprise Barclaycard Out of the Blue performance on the night.
Multi-platinum, 13-time GRAMMY Award-winner John Legend will debut at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard this December. John Legend’s extensive catalogue of music accolades includes Golden Globes, Academy Awards and MOBO awards for his acclaimed tracks including ‘All of Me’ and ‘Ordinary People’. The singer-songwriter, who has worked with some of the biggest names in music including Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Ariana Grande and most recently Pharrell Williams, will play his biggest hits for Capital listeners.
British singer-songwriter Tom Grennan also joins the line-up for night two of the Ball. Known for his huge hits including ‘Little Bit of Love’ and ‘By Your Side’, Tom Grennan will take his powerhouse vocals to The O2 this December.
Jason Derulo stunned the crowd at Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard back in June, and this December he’ll return to The O2 stage with another unforgettable performance. Jason Derulo has a long list of iconic pop hits including ‘In My Head’, ‘Whatcha Say’ and ‘Ridin’ Solo’.
Festive favourite Leona Lewis will bring the Christmas magic to The O2 this December! With her incredible powerhouse vocals and a catalogue of huge hits including ‘Bleeding Love’ and ‘Run’, Leona has become a Christmas icon thanks to her much-loved festive anthem ‘One More Sleep’. The star is set to deliver a spectacular performance packed with festive cheer at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard.
Jamie Miller, one of the biggest breakout stars this year, will make his first-ever appearance on The O2 stage at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard. The Welsh singer-songwriter released his epic breakthrough single ‘Babydoll’ which has climbed the US Billboard Hot 100 and recently reached No.1 on The EE Official Big Top 40 from Global.
Rudimental, one of the biggest names in drum and bass, will bring their electrifying sound to The O2 this December. The BRIT Award-winning group are behind some of DnB’s biggest tracks including ‘Dancing Is Healing’, and have collaborated with music’s biggest names including Ed Sheeran and Dizzee Rascal. Renowned globally for their infectious live performances, they’re sure to get the audience on their feet at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard.
Stella Lefty, known for her viral hit song ‘Boston’, joins the star-studded line-up at this year’s Ball. The American singer-songwriter climbed the UK and US charts with her single and is set to be a rising star in country-pop music.
Next, Jordan, Chris and Siân revealed that GRAMMY Award-winning electronic music group Clean Bandit will also take the stage at the Ball. Over the years, the group have collaborated with huge artists including Anne-Marie, Zara Larsson, David Guetta, and Demi Lovato.
DJ and music producer D.O.D will take over The O2 with his signature high-energy sound at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard. The British DJ is the force behind some of dance music’s most unmistakable club sounds and will get the party going at this year’s Ball.
Finally, Capital Breakfast unveiled the news that Capital Buzz Artist Freya Skye will play Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard. Presented by Capital’s Gen Z pop-culture brand, the Capital Buzz Artist slot shines a spotlight on emerging talent. With her undeniable talent she has released pop smashes including ‘silent treatment’ and ‘bad taste’. Now Freya Skye will take to the biggest stage of her career this December at the Ball.
