about us

Global’s Make Some Noise is our grant-giving charity that improves the lives of disadvantaged people by working with small charities across the UK.

We unite our radio stations, our outdoor portfolio, our audiences, and our friends from the music and entertainment industry to give a voice to small charities.

All the projects we fund are across four key areas: providing shelter and safety, supporting physical and mental health, preventing isolation and improving life skills.

what we do

This year alone, we’re supporting crucial services at 100 small charities, including food banks, mental health and domestic violence helplines, carer support, community projects and employment programmes.

As well as championing small charities, we help to sustain their future through our learning programme, so they can continue making positive waves of change.

In short, we give grants, we give a voice, and we give a helping hand to small charities across the UK.

about us

We believe in investing in future generations wanting to work in media and creative industries, which is why we set up Global Academy.

A school in London for 14-19 year olds, our unique Academy provides its students with the technical skills needed to succeed in broadcast and digital media.

Alongside GCSEs and A Levels, students learn how to use state of the art radio and TV studios, as well as completing workplace tasks like responding to a client brief.

Students also have the advantage of networking with our top industry connections who regularly visit the Academy for workshops and Q&As.
