Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard is back! On Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th December, some of the biggest names in music will take to the stage at London’s iconic O2 for two spectacular nights of live performances at the UK’s biggest Christmas party.
This morning on Capital Breakfast, Jordan North, Chris Stark and Siân Welby revealed the first wave of stars set to perform at the UK’s biggest Christmas party on Saturday 5th December. Lewis Capaldi, Teddy Swims, Jorja Smith, Becky Hill, Tinie Tempah, Aitch, December 10, Ashe, Bash Croft and Capital Buzz Artist Mulaa Joans are all confirmed to play. Fans can also look forward to a special surprise Barclaycard Out of the Blue performance on the night.
Two-time BRIT award-winning superstar Lewis Capaldi will play night one of Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard. A huge favourite with Capital listeners, Lewis Capaldi’s repertoire of massive songs includes ‘Someone You Loved’, ‘Hold Me While You Wait’, ‘Forget Me’, and ‘Before You Go’. Lewis Capaldi makes a welcome return to The O2 stage, marking his first performance at the Ball since 2022.
American singer-songwriter and chart-topper Teddy Swims makes a return to the Ball for night one of the star-studded event. Teddy Swims has a powerhouse catalogue of hits including ‘Lose Control’, ‘Bad Dreams’ and ‘The Door’. Having rapidly built a devoted global fanbase, Teddy will bring a set packed with fan favourites.
One of the UK’s most exciting R&B vocal talents, Jorja Smith joins the bill for Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard. Jorja won the BRITs Critics’ Choice Award in 2018 and has continued to cement her place as one of British music’s most distinctive voices with her tracks ‘Dancing’ and ‘Alive (feat. Wizkid)’.
Capital favourite Becky Hill will bring her full energy to the Ball this year. The ‘queen of dance’ and two time BRIT award-winning artist has collaborated with some of the biggest names in dance music and achieved widespread acclaim with her chart-topping hits.
Tinie Tempah is heading back to The O2 for this year’s Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard. With a run of era-defining hits including ‘Pass Out’, ‘Written in the Stars’ and ‘Not Letting Go’, he is a major force in UK music. Tinie has soundtracked dancefloors for over a decade and he’s ready to bring that unmistakable energy to the stage once again for Capital listeners.
Next, Jordan, Chris and Siân revealed BRIT award-winner Aitch will return to Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard. The Manchester rapper has collaborated with world-renowned artists including Ed Sheeran, Stormzy and Anne-Marie, and has been a firm Capital playlist favourite with his tracks ‘Rain’, ‘Baby (feat. Ashanti)’ and ‘PSYCHO’ with Anne-Marie.
Boyband December 10 played their biggest-ever stage at Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard back in June and are back to perform for Capital fans again. This December, the band will celebrate their first year together, marking a milestone in a year that has seen them release their debut EP, On Your Side, and take their music on the road, touring across the country and performing for fans along the way.
Singer-songwriter Ashe also joins this year’s line-up. Ashe reached new heights this year with the release of her single ‘Stop The Wedding!’ and will perform for Capital listeners for the first ever time.
Fresh from winning The Celebrity Traitors, Bash Croft is swapping the castle for Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard! Bash is further cementing his place in pop with the release of his new single ‘Everything Always Now’, alongside the announcement of his debut EP The Great Forever, set to be released later this month. He’ll take to The O2 stage for a very special performance at this year’s Ball.
Finally, it was announced that Capital Buzz Artist Mulaa Joans completes the line-up for night one of the Ball. Presented by Capital’s Gen Z pop-culture brand, the Capital Buzz Artist slot shines a spotlight on emerging talent. Mulaa Joans started off her career posting covers on TikTok but has since released her own music including her debut EP £70 For Peace Of Mind.
