Capital XTRA, home to the biggest Hip Hop and RnB, and Lucozade Zero, today (7 September) announced an exclusive event at Camden’s iconic venue, KOKO.
Capital XTRA Upfront Live with Lucozade Zero presents an impressive line-up of the biggest names in Afrobeats, Hip Hop and RnB. The artists confirmed to take to the stage at KOKO on Tuesday 26th September were revealed this morning on Capital XTRA Breakfast with Robert Bruce and Shayna Marie.
A leading pioneer of Afrobeats, the mega talented singer, songwriter, and producer Davido – responsible for global anthems including ‘Blow My Mind’ (feat. Chris Brown) and his most recent chart-topping track ‘Unavailable’ – will play at Capital XTRA Upfront Live with Lucozade.
Also on the bill are East London collective NSG who will bring the homegrown Afro swing vibe to the stage. NSG teamed up with Tion Wayne on their hit ‘Options’ and most recently released their collaboration with Nines, ‘Ride’.
Croydon-based Hip Hop artist Strandz has been climbing the scene following the success from his collaboration with Digga D, ‘Us Against the World’ and is anticipated to set the UK Hip Hop scene ablaze with his ‘Fully Lidge’ movement.
Completing the line-up is Stormzy collaborator, soul singer Debbie, who co-wrote and featured on her labelmate Stormzy’s album, ‘This Is What I Mean,’ including the critically acclaimed love song, ‘Firebabe’.
