Global returns to this year’s BRIT Awards with unrivalled multi-platform coverage across its biggest brands and platforms, amplifying the event with activity spanning broadcast, digital, social and on-the-ground coverage.
From red carpet arrivals to the winners’ room, Global talent and branding will be front and centre across the night, bringing audiences closer to the action than ever before.
Capital, Heart, Capital XTRA, and Gen-Z digital brand Capital Buzz, will all be live from the red carpet, speaking to nominees and winners as they arrive and capturing the biggest moments as they happen.
Global presenters will take audiences backstage and in to the winners’ room, capturing instant reaction and behind-the-scenes content across broadcast and social.
Coverage and standout moments will roll out across Global’s digital platforms reaching audiences far beyond the arena, across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.
Capital continues its long-standing partnership with the BRIT Awards having been sponsor of Song of The Year with Mastercard supported by Capital category for nearly two decades. Capital’s Jimmy Hill will host his Saturday show, 9am – 12pm, live from Manchester, with Global’s showbiz team reporting directly from the venue, Co-op Live. Together they’ll bring listeners the atmosphere from inside the arena, including red carpet interviews, backstage access and live reaction, as the winners are revealed. It follows a week of build-up including Capital’s biggest ever BRITs Winning Weekend.
Heart is giving listeners an access-all-areas pass to the BRIT Awards with Mastercard. Heart’s showbiz correspondent Ashley Roberts will be live from the red carpet on Saturday afternoon, speaking to this year’s biggest nominees and stars as they arrive and capturing the excitement as it unfolds. Ashley will then take listeners behind the scenes AND to the exclusive after parties, bringing the best stories, standout performances and biggest gossip straight to Heart Breakfast on Monday morning.
Capital XTRA will be capturing the culture-defining moments from the red carpet and backstage, speaking to artists and celebrating the sounds shaping this year’s BRITs.
On air, Capital Anthems will build anticipation by throwing it back to some of the biggest BRITs moments ever. Featuring iconic winners and huge performances, Best of the BRITs on Friday from 6pm on Capital Anthems will celebrate the moments that went down in pop history.
