Through award-winning radio brands, podcasts, billboards and digital platforms, Global has become an important part of the UK’s everyday.
We know how lucky we are to hold such a trusted position, and take our responsibilities seriously. It’s why we stand behind a unifying purpose: Making everyone’s day brighter.
This year’s Global Goodness Report explores giving back to the communities we serve and shares insights into our future aspirations. We hope it highlights how, together, we can keep making a positive impact in people’s lives.
Global’s Make Some Noise is our grant-giving charity that partners with small charities across the UK to improve the lives of disadvantaged people.
We unite our radio brands, outdoor portfolio, audiences, and friends from the music and entertainment industry to amplify voices of small charities. We fund projects across four key areas: providing shelter and safety, supporting physical and mental health, preventing isolation and improving life skills.
As well as championing small charities, we help to sustain their future through our learning programme, so they can continue making positive waves of change.
We understand that we need to play our part in tackling the climate crisis and ensuring we all have a healthy planet and environment for future generations to enjoy.
We are committed to reducing our carbon emissions and being transparent about our targets and initiatives to drive improvements.
Environmental sustainability has been identified as a core pillar for Global Goodness, driving environmentally responsible changes, promoting a culture of sustainable business practice and ensuring that Global is making a difference that matters.
We believe in investing in future generations wanting to work in media and creative industries, which is why we set up Global Academy.
A school in London for 14-19 year olds, our unique Academy provides its students with the technical skills needed to succeed in broadcast and digital media.
Alongside GCSEs and A Levels, students learn how to use state of the art radio and TV studios, as well as completing workplace tasks like responding to a client brief.
Students also have the advantage of networking with our top industry connections who regularly visit the Academy for workshops and Q&As.
