Global, the Media & Entertainment Group, has today announced details of its brand-new podcast, The Shelina Show, hosted by award-winning author, advertising executive and mum-of-two Shelina Janmohamed.
Launching on Wednesday 18th January, the podcast will bring Shelina’s unique voice to go beyond the headlines to explore news and culture in the UK and globally.
Shelina will take time to look at the biggest stories in depth and in detail, joining the dots between topics to arm listeners with expert insights, to try and make sense of the world together.
The weekly podcast will feature interviews and discussions with a mix of familiar faces including Dan Snow and Ahir Shah, as well as new upcoming diverse voices sharing their perspectives on the biggest stories of the week.
Shelina will also talk to leading experts to discuss a topic in depth that affects us all, from trust and the social care crisis, to grief and body image.
The Shelina Show – a fresh, bold, unapologetic and quirky take on the current affairs that affect all our lives – is the UK’s first major weekly news podcast hosted by a Muslim woman.
