Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball, with Barclaycard is back, bigger than ever before! The two-day extravaganza will be the first multi-artist concert since the pandemic began at The O2, London.
The biggest hit music artists from around the world will descend upon London’s iconic The O2 Arena, performing their biggest hits for Capital listeners across the weekend of Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th December 2021.
The massive line-up for night two of the UK’s biggest Christmas party was revealed live on Capital Breakfast by hosts Roman Kemp, Sonny Jay and Sian Welby today.
Taking to the stage on night two, Sunday 12th December, are Ed Sheeran, Lil Nas X, Anne-Marie, Mabel, KSI, Joel Corry, JLS, Griff and The Capital Weekender Presents MistaJam and Friends with Shane Codd, Nathan Dawe & Jonasu.
Four-time GRAMMY Award-winning and six-time BRIT Award-winning artist Ed Sheeran is to play night two of Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard. Ed Sheeran is one of the biggest stars on the planet who has sold over 45 million albums and 150 million singles world-wide. He recently celebrated his 14th UK no.1 on The Official Big Top 40 with monster hit ‘Shivers’ and is sure to wow fans at the Ball with an epic hit-filled set.
Global phenomenon and GRAMMY Award-winning artist Lil Nas X will be making his debut at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball in what will be a UK exclusive and the only chance fans will have to see him perform live in the UK this year. Lil Nas X’s huge breakout hit ‘Old Town Road’ spent a total of 19 weeks on top of the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, becoming the longest-running no.1 song since the chart began. Following a show-stopping Met Gala debut in September, Lil Nas X dropped his hugely anticipated and widely acclaimed debut album ‘MONTERO’, which includes his no.1 hit singles ‘MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)’ and ‘INDUSTRY BABY’ feat. Jack Harlow. Lil Nas X will be taking to The O2 stage for the first time ever with what will be an unmissable performance for fans.
Anne-Marie, a huge favourite with Capital listeners, will also play on night two of the Ball. One of the UK’s biggest stars, she’s enjoyed major chart success with hits including ‘2002’, ‘Friends’ and ‘Don’t Play’ and has collaborated with some of the world’s biggest artists including Rudimental, Little Mix, Niall Horan and David Guetta.
Singer-songwriter Mabel will take to the stage on night two of Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard. The star is known for her string of smash hits including ‘Don’t Call Me Up’, ‘Mad Love’ and ‘Boyfriend’ and her massive hit ‘Tick Tock’ with Clean Bandit which climbed The Official Big Top 40 chart last year.
British YouTuber, professional boxer and hip-hop sensation KSI will make his debut at a Capital Ball when he performs for fans on night two. The star’s first record ‘Dissimulation’ was the UK’s biggest-selling debut album of 2020. Its follow-up ‘All Over the Place’ topped the UK album chart earlier this year and features his huge hits ‘Holiday’ and ‘Patience’. Capital listeners won’t want to miss his performance this Christmas.
Joel Corry, who wowed fans at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball Kick Off Party Presented by Barclaycard with a sensational DJ set live on the Barclaycard Boat on Tuesday, is also confirmed for night two. One of the UK’s leading DJs and dance producers, Joel had 2020’s longest-running consecutive UK no.1 hit single with ‘Head & Heart’ ft. MNEK. He’ll get the crowd in party mode when he takes to the decks.
JLS delighted fans when they reunited in 2020 after almost a decade and will make a triumphant return to Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard this Christmas. The much-loved group – which features Capital Late Show host Marvin Humes – played Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball every year from 2009 – 2012 and will perform for Capital listeners once again when they make their sensational come-back at the Ball.
After a whirlwind year, breakout star Griff will also play her first ever Capital Ball this Christmas. After winning the prestigious BRITs 2021 Rising Star Award, Griff is undeniably one of the most exciting new talents to emerge from the UK in recent times.
Brand new for 2021, dance legend MistaJam – who joined Capital in 2020 to front brand new station Capital Dance and relaunch The Capital Weekender – will bring high NRG club vibes to The O2 on Sunday. Following the huge success of Capital’s MistaJam & Friends club nights earlier this year, MistaJam will get the UK’s biggest Christmas party well and truly going with The Capital Weekender Live with MistaJam and Friends featuring huge DJs Shane Codd, Nathan Dawe & Jonasu. They’ll be hitting the decks and playing some of the biggest club mixes and dance anthems.
Yesterday Capital Breakfast revealed the star-studded line-up for night one of Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard, which will take place on Saturday 11th December, featuring Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Years & Years, Jax Jones, Clean Bandit, Becky Hill, Jesy Nelson, Sigrid, Mimi Webb and The Capital Weekender Live with MistaJam and Friends with Billen Ted, 220 KID & Riton.
