The UK’s biggest Summer party, Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard is back!
Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard will return to London’s Wembley Stadium, with 80,000 Capital listeners and a massive line-up of the world’s hottest artists set to descend upon the iconic venue on Sunday June 11th.
The first huge names confirmed for Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard on Sunday 11th June were revealed on Capital Breakfast this morning by Roman Kemp, Chris Stark and Sian Welby. Jonas Brothers, Lewis Capaldi, Anne-Marie, Sigala, RAYE, Tom Grennan, Jess Glynne, Joel Corry, Mimi Webb, and Zara Larsson are all confirmed to play on the Sunday.
GRAMMY award-nominated powerhouse trio Jonas Brothers were the first act to be announced on air this morning. Jonas Brothers are known for their huge number 1 hits ‘Sucker’ and ‘What A Man Gotta Do’ and have recently released their brand new single ‘Waffle House.’ Jonas Brothers are no strangers to Capital’s Summertime Ball, as they performed back in 2019 and make a welcome return this Summer.
Multi-BRIT award-winning singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi will also take to the stage this Summer making his debut at Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard. The music mega-star released his hit track ‘Forget Me’ last year which has smashed over 200 million streams globally and is taken from his hotly anticipated album ‘Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent’, out on May 19th.
Anne-Marie will also play Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard. Anne-Marie is a huge hit with Capital listeners and has collaborated with some of the world’s biggest artists including Rudimental, David Guetta and Little Mix.
DJ and producer Sigala will be bringing his blue-skied summer soundtracks to Wembley Stadium with his electrifying set. Sigala recently collaborated with David Guetta and Sam Ryder on the hit ‘Living Without You’ and his second album ‘Every Cloud’ is due to release later this year.
Multi-BRIT and Ivor Novello-nominated singer-songwriter RAYE also joins the bill for the Ball. RAYE is well known for featuring on the hit singles ‘By Your Side’ by Jonas Blue, ‘You Don’t Know me’ by Jax Jones and ‘Bed’ by Joel Corry and David Guetta. Earlier this year RAYE dropped her latest album ‘My 21st Century Blues’ featuring the hit single ‘Escapism’ featuring 070 Shake which led her to scooping up ‘Best Trended Song’ at The Global Awards 2023 and became her first song to chart on the Billboard Hot 100.
Tom Grennan also joins the line-up for Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard. Tom Grennan’s huge hits including ‘Remind Me’, ‘Not Over Yet’ with KSI and ‘Lionheart (Fearless)’ with Joel Corry, were all named in The Biggest Songs of 2022 by Official Big Top 40 from Global. The chart-topping BRIT nominated singer will play his biggest show yet to 80,000 fans at Wembley stadium.
Singer-songwriter Jess Glynne also joins the star-studded line-up for the Ball. Jess Glynne has achieved multiple accolades throughout her career, including a Grammy Award and nine Brit Award nominations.
Chart-topping DJ Joel Corry will take to the decks playing his biggest dance tracks, bringing the party vibe to Wembley. Joel Corry has released massive tunes such as ‘Lonely‘, ‘Head & Heart‘ with MNEK, ‘BED‘ with RAYE, and has collaborated with iconic names like David Guetta, Becky Hill and Tom Grennan.
Break-out star Mimi Webb also joins the line-up for Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard. Mimi Webb has racked up over 900 million global streams to date with her multiple chart-topping tracks including ‘House on Fire,’ ‘Good Without,’ and most recently ‘Red Flags’. Mimi Webb earlier this year released her debut album ‘Amelia’.
Swedish singer-songwriter Zara Larsson has become one of the biggest artists in dance-pop music and a global superstar known for her high energy and chart-topping hits including ‘Lush Life’, ‘Never Forget You’ and featuring on ‘Symphony’ by Clean Bandit.
The launch of Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard 2023 continues tomorrow on Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp from 7am, when Roman, Chris Stark and Sian will reveal the second set of artists joining the star-studded line-up.
