Hosted by Alexander Armstrong, Dan Walker & Myleene Klass in April 2025, Classic FM Live at the Movies with Viking saw the UK’s most popular Classical music brand celebrate the world’s greatest film music for the first time.
Performing live at London’s prestigious the Royal Albert Hall was a line-up of star soloists – guitarist Alexandra Whittingham, Latvian string duo the Balanas Sisters, organist Anna Lapwood and soprano Aida Garifullina. Firm film favourites on the setlist included Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, Mission Impossible, The Lord of the Rings, and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
Our performers joined The Bach Choir and the renowned Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, an official partner of Classic FM, conducted by theatre and film conductor, Anthony Gabriele.
