Manny Norté to focus on huge weekend shows on Capital XTRA
Saturday and Sunday nights
One of music’s most respected DJs and producers, Manny Norté, has announced that after ten years as a daily presenter on Capital XTRA, he has decided to step down from hosting the prestigious weekday mid-morning show to focus on his renowned weekend shows on the station.
Manny is one of the UK’s most long-standing and respected figures in music, having interviewed some of the world’s biggest names in music. Over the years Manny has been instrumental in supporting, breaking and discovering new artists on the station.
Manny will continue to host his huge weekend shows on the station on Saturday (7pm-11pm) and “The Norté Show” on Sunday (7pm – 10pm) nights.
“Well, what can I say; It’s a surreal moment for me and the end of an era. I’ve enjoyed every millisecond of bringing the vibes to the listeners from Monday through to Friday. To all those that have tuned in over the years, I’ve loved being a key part of your day and your love and support doesn’t go unnoticed.
My thanks to the whole team at Global and Capital XTRA who have been supportive throughout. However, this is not a goodbye, it’s more of a see you later as you can still catch me, the name you can trust, every Saturday and Sunday evening from 7pm in the mix!”
