Radio X’s Johnny Vaughan launches new podcast with six exclusive interviews with people who say they’ve experienced contact with extra-terrestrial beings.
WELCOME TO
ALIEN KIDNAP CLUB
All episodes of Alien Kidnap Club will be available to listen to on Global Player from Wednesday 15th February and on all podcast platforms every Wednesday.
Stories about UFOs and extra-terrestrial beings have permeated popular culture for decades. Since the 1950s, numerous reported sightings of strange objects in the sky became fodder for the media to create visions of potential threats: flying saucers invading our planet; the whole world under attack by bug-eyed little green men.
In the many decades that have passed, this conversation has changed radically. In 2021, the US Pentagon made an extraordinary statement; that UFOs are real, and they have video evidence to prove it.
These statements have turned UFOs from a punchline into a serious talking point. Is it now time to take aliens seriously?
Johnny had a phenomenal experience with a group of friends. An out of this world sighting that he’s never been able to get out of his head. Since then, he has been intrigued by the possibility of a world that exists beyond our own.
In six exclusive interviews, Johnny Vaughan talks to people from across the world, who are willing to share their stories about their experiences being in contact with extra-terrestrial beings.
From detailed accounts of being visited by aliens at their home and meeting their future self, to travelling to other dimensions, opening portals, and visiting distant galaxies they call home. Some believe that aliens live amongst us and others describe meeting other beings in the centre of the sun.
Alien Kidnap Club provides a platform for people to share their stories with no judgement. Whether you believe in life out there or think we are alone in the universe, we just want you to listen and make up your own mind.
Alien Kidnap Club is the latest co-production from Global, the Media & Entertainment group, and The Story Lab. Previous co-productions as part of Global and The Story Lab’s output deal include Big Zuu’s Feast is Feast, Ghoul Guide with Rachel Fairburn and the LBC podcast Hunting Ghislaine.

“Ask anyone if they believe in alien life, most people will say ‘yes’. Yet, if anyone says they believe in alien life because they’ve seen it, we are sceptical. Alien Kidnap Club attempts to understand this contradiction and answer the old question “is there life out there?”
