Today, world-renowned broadcaster Kate Garraway gave away a record-breaking £1.5 million pounds, the biggest prize in UK radio history to Rachel from Surbiton on Global’s Cash Call.
Kate Garraway rang the lucky winner, “Hello it’s Kate Garraway here… Now, you probably know it’s a record breaking jackpot up for grabs. After winning the huge sum of money, civil servant Rachel from Surbiton said, “I have no idea what to say to that. It’s incomprehensible. Thank you! On what she plans to do with this cash prize, Rachel says, “I’d really like to move house and move to the coast. It gives me the freedom to look for exactly what I’d like, rather than what I can afford… that’s just amazing.”
