Global was awarded the advertising concession for EMT Madrid for the second time in a row, thus establishing its leadership in bus advertising management.

With this award, Global reinforces its leadership in outdoor advertising for buses, managing over 5,700 buses across Spain, with a total of 17 concessions.

  • The outdoor advertising company has already been managing EMT Madrid’s advertising spaces since 2016, during which time it has developed over 4,000 advertising campaigns and set up a pioneering audience measurement system, Geobus.
  • This renewal means running advertising outside and inside 2,066 EMT Madrid buses.

Global, a leading company in outdoor advertising audiences, is establishing its position in Spain in urban outdoor advertising with the award of the EMT Madrid contract.

With this contract, Global reinforces its leadership as the outdoor advertising company for the bus sector, managing over 5,700 buses across Spain, with a total of 17 concessions.

With this award, both companies have renewed their collaboration and continued a relationship which began in 2016, when Global won the advertising concession for the buses in the capital.

In these 5 years, over 4,000 advertising campaigns have been developed. Moreover, the outdoor advertising company has set up a pioneering system in this period in Madrid to calculate bus advertising audiences, called Geobus and developed by Cuende Infometrics. The system was born with the objective of professionalising bus marketing as an advertising format, build market trust in the medium and facilitate campaign planning.
